Hi
There is a lot of interesting stuff out there if you know where to look- some of it is just well ..interesting
The last few weeks I have made a move over from notion to Tana
why?
Well because the Tana iPhone app is SO good for simply recording ideas and getting it into the app- it also has transcription built in and AI WITH individual commands so basically very easily you can create your own AI commands and have them run with just a few key strokes.
Difficult to explain you need to watch this video by @evielync Ev Chapman - she has Tana down to a fine art and I really think it is the way ahead for anyone
Evernote WAS the solution for me for many years used as a digital filing cabinet with everything stored there and searchable on any device.
BUT
Over the last year of two the wheel has come off, Evernote have made some fundamentally bad decisions about how things should work - without consulting their customers. Eventually they have sold out to an Italian company who have heroically claimed they will implement all manner of things fix everything THEN INCREASED THE PRICE BY 50%!. Yes that correct 50%!!
Perhaps right at the correct time Bear Notes have released Bear 2 which is VERY clean- imports Evernote files- makes PDFS searchable and allows export to a range of documents types (something Apple Notes is weak on) For 29.99 a year as opposed to $129.99 a year for Evernote I think Bear is probably the best Evernote replacement at the moment.
Here’s some links to interesting, helpful, and thought-provoking content.
Many will know I am a huge fan of Eric von Danker and read his first book when I was 11 back in 1969! He has just released another book and once again he asked obvious questions others ignore are afraid to ask it is a real eye opener and a great read. Check out Enoch and the Return Of The Gods
I have had a reading week this week and have also been speed reading and consuming Steal like an Artist Austin Kleon.
Austin Kleon's beautifully illustrated book teaches readers how to use their surroundings and their own creativity to discover their own artistic paths.
Filled with clever infographics and words of wisdom from Kleon, and peppered with quotes from other successful artists, Steal Like an Artist, is an inspiration for both veteran and aspiring artists everywhere.
Actually not just artist anyone who creates something as part of our lives= everyone.
As we age, it’s important to continue to challenge our minds and learn new things to keep them sharp and fresh. Here are a few ways to do that

Discipline is often perceived as a strict set of rules that confines our freedom and creativity. However, what many fail to realize is that discipline, when used correctly, does not restrain but frees us. It is the power of discipline that drives us towards success and fulfilment.
