The Old Curator Newletter 04012023
by Rob James
Hi there
I hope this newsletter finds you well! As always, I've been keeping an eye on the latest happenings in the world and wanted to share some of my thoughts and observations with you.
What Caught My Eye:
Fountains Abbey: Ruins And Reminiscences Of Monastic Life In England I have been there many times- when you go try the Mead! The imposing ruins of Fountains Abbey North Yorkshire, England.
It’s common knowledge that man didn’t learn to fly until the 20th century. However shocking discoveries in both South America and Egypt are beginning to bring this long-stated fact into question.
Do the Ica Stones prove that mankind coexisted with dinosaurs and had advanced technology?
It is a rare object that stimulates the curiosity of archaeologists, ancient astronaut theorists, and creationists all at the same time, but the Ica stones have done just that.
What Made Me Laugh:
What Made Me Think:
At some point in our lives, we all face the challenge of acquiring a new skill, whether it's learning a new language, developing a new hobby, or acquiring a new professional qualification. While some people may find the process of learning a new skill easy, for others, it may be more challenging.
What We Should Be Thinking About:
Researchers found an impressive ecosystem of "alien" microorganisms in the radioactive Königstein mine in Germany.
What Music I Miss:
What I'm Being Asked About:

Everyone is talking about...or should be?
Humans will achieve immortality in eight YEARS, says former Google engineer who has predicted the future with 86% accuracy A former Google engineer has made a stark realization that humans will achieve immortality in eight years - and 86 percent of his 147 predictions have been correct.
So questions
All humans or some?
Who decides?
Why would you want to?
What will religions have to say about this?
As always, I hope you find this newsletter informative and enjoyable. Feel free to reach out with any questions or thoughts you may have.
Best,
Rob James aka The Old Curator
